The Opportunity
We are currently seeking a Registered Nurse.
Working in Theatre where our surgical procedures include Cardiothoracic surgery, Orthopaedics, Spinal, General and Paediatrics, Urology, Plastics, Maxilla Facial, ENT, Dental, and reporting to the Theatre Coordinator, this role scrubs and circulates for a variety of surgeries.
To be successful in this role:
- You will need a minimum of 12 months’ experience in a similar role or working environment, where you have had similar responsibilities and where you are comfortable scrubbing for a variety of surgeries;
- You must have a current New Zealand Nursing Registration (APC);
- You will understand that the key to success lies in our team operating in collaboration with one another and you will have the ability and disposition to enhance cooperation and teamwork;
- You will be known for your clear and professional communication skills and your ability to remain calm and collected in a fast paced, rapidly changing environment.
