We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Associate Charge Nurse to join our friendly team in the Operating Theatre for the Urology and Gynaecology specialties.

We provide a variety of exciting surgical and medical procedures at tertiary level, procedures such as Cardiac surgery, Orthopaedics, Spines, General, Urology, Plastics, Maxilla Facial, ENT and Dental.

The hospital comprises of nine Operating Theatres, two Endoscopy suites, 85 beds, plus a 5 bedded HDU/ICU.

Requirements

You would be required to scrub and circulate for a variety of surgeries.

The successful candidate will possess:

  • Current New Zealand nursing registration (APC)
  • A minimum of 4 years’ operating theatre experience
  • Be able and scrub and circulate for a variety of surgeries
  • The ability to work effectively with a team environment
