Our staff will look after you from your admission into one of our hospitals, through to your surgery and onto your discharge home. Our aim is to provide you with the highest possible service and care while at a Braemar hospital.
Both of our hospitals offer the highest standards of clinical care through over 100 credentialed specialists, our highly qualified, skilled and dedicated staff and state of the art facilities and medical equipment.
For our inpatients staying at our Ohaupo Road hospital we offer:
- Large, private, well-appointed rooms all with ensuites.
- A courtyard garden
- Two lounges providing tea and coffee making facilities and reading material
- A choice of delicious meals freshly prepared by our resident chef (a selection of wine and beer is available to patients over 18 years of age)
- Morning and afternoon tea
- Television including SKY TV
- Broadband internet access for your laptop
- Mail is deivered to you daily
- Complimentary morning and evening newspapers delivered to your room
- Extended visiting hours - from 11am to 8pm
Visitors are invited to make use of either of the two lounges or the admissions area where tea and coffee making facilities are available. Fresh, cold drinking water is also available.
For Day Patients at both hospitals we offer:
- Well appointed day surgery units
- Refreshments following your surgery
For our Smaller Patients at both we have some special facilities to make our younger patients feel welcome:
- We have children’s play areas at both hospitals
- We have toys, books, videos and a Playstation available on request
- A child focused menu is available to tempt smaller appetites and we never run out of ice cream and jelly!
